INVITATION

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Electronics invites researchers, professionals, master and PhD students to participate at the ISEEE-2008, The 2nd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, which will be held at the "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galaţi, Romania.

 

 

Galaţi is an old and beautiful town located in the Eastern part of Romania. It can be reached easily by train or by car from Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

 

The symposium is intended as an international forum where an effective exchange of knowledge and experience amongst researchers active in various theoretical and applied areas of electrical and electronics engineering, power electronics and telecommunications can take place.

 

 

The objective of the second symposium is oriented but not limited to the paradigm of interdependency between electrical and electronic systems.

 

 

The working language of the conference is English.

    The fee covers a hardcopy of the proceedings, free access to the professional development seminars and tutorials, coffee and tea during the morning and afternoon breaks, lunches during the full symposium days, the social events for one person.

    No fees for PhD and master students, if they are the first authors and only for one paper. Any additional paper will be with fee payment.

  • The fee for SPECIAL SESSIONS is 500 RON. It covers an extended number of pages for each paper (up to 10 pages), special assistance from organizers, proceedings, CD-ROM, Lunch, Banquet, Coffee Breaks and social activities;
  • Based on request the fee could be reduced to a lower value.

    IMPORTANT DEADLINES

    April 01:  Specials session proposals based on the set of the abstracts of the papers.

     

    April 15:  Notification of special papers acceptance and further details.

     

     

    May 30 June 15: Submission of full ordinary papers proposals (of 4 or 6 pages) as pdf or MS word files

     

     

    June 30: Notification of acceptance/rejection.

     

     

    July 30:  Camera-ready version of the accepted papers and registration form.

               

    Proceedings

    All accepted papers will be published in the Symposium Proceeding Book with ISBN. Selected papers will be published in a special section of the Annals of the “Dunarea de Jos” Galati University .

       

    Social activities

     

     

    The social activities will include: Welcome cocktail, Banquet, Trip on Danube.

     

     

    PAPERS FORMAT

     

     

    The format of the papers is under the general IEEE style for transactions. A Microsoft Word template for camera - ready is here.
